What is an immobilizer?

An immobilizer is an extra security measure that prevents the car from starting or being stolen without a key. This is one of the most commonly used security measures.

ALARM CLASS IMMOBILIZER (CLASS 1)

This immobilizer is the former security class 1. This security class consists of an electrical system (immobilizer) with at least two automatically activated immobilizers:

1. Starter motor blockage
2. Blocking of another system in the vehicle, usually the fuel supply
